Nottingham Youth for Christ aims to take Good news relevantly to every young person in Nottingham.

 

We do this through serving local schools and churches, as well as connecting with young people through various sessions throughout the week.

 

Strategic Theme 1: – Direct Work With Young People

We intend to:
1) Build and develop intentional relationships with young people
2) Develop the outreach work we do
3) Be clearer about our proclamation
4) Increase the excellence of our work
5) Improve the way we inspire YP
6) Sustain an holistic development approach

Strategic Theme 2: – Work In Schools

We intend to:
1) Expand and develop our relationships
2) Increase our participation in extended schools
3) Improve our sports work
4) Increase our life-skills work
5) Develop our creative arts work 
6) Increase the number of Christian ministries in Nottingham schools

Strategic Theme 3: – Work With Churches

We intend to:
1) Enhance our partnership work for local mission
2) Expand our links to aid YP’s discipleship
3) Clarify our expectations in work with churches
4) Inspire them to be missionaries to, and advocates for, YP

Strategic Theme 4: – Work With Other Partners

We intend to:
1) Develop and sustain existing partnerships
2) Increase the number of new partnerships
3) Seek out and develop relationships with partners who have common values
4) Infiltrate organisations with common purposes

Strategic Theme 5: – Public Relations

 

We intend to:
1) Develop the NYFC brand
2) Increase the profile of NYFC with YP, churches and partners
3) Be more targeted
4) Be more strategic and proactive in promoting the work

Strategic Theme 6: – Resourcing

We intend to:
1) Develop more dependable and sustainable sources of funding
2) Ensure enough staff are in place to realise intentions being paid properly and having admin support
3) Enhance income from churches
4) Develop income from educational social enterprise sources
5) Increase the sales of resources
6) Seek out additional grant schemes and increase funding form this source
