Chilwell Comprehensive School

Alderman White

Hadden Park school

    Eq:

eq is a course set up to encourage and equip young people to share the Gospel in their schools and colleges. for young people aged between 14 to 18 and in full time education eq aims to give them the tools to build God centred relationships with their friends and peers.
Meeting every fortnight they have relevant teaching and provokes and challenges them to evangelise more effectively.

"Through eq I have gained a deeper desire to evangelise and I'm more likely to take a risk in talking to someone about God"

"I've been challenged in different areas of my life and encouraged to do things I might have shied away from before"

"I have enjoyed meeting Christians from all over Nottingham and having people around me with the same heart"

    Pure Cafe:

pure:cafe is a weekly place for young people to come along to, hang out with their mates and just relax.  From 7pm until 10 pm there will be a live dj as well as visuals to create a good atmosphere where people feel safe and at home.

One of the main elements we want pure to achieve is somewhere where Christian young people can take their friends, but also where non Christians can see God working. We are able to do this through small group discussions, prayer rooms and we are even looking at a screen room to show short films with discussion alongside.

It is all happening at Beeston Baptist Church on Wednesday nights.
